Glenburgie - Batch 2 Bottling Note

The second batch of single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenburgie distillery bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company has arrived. The label shows a giant searching the Glenburgie distillery for something, but what could it be? Is he looking for some yummy whisky, of which Glenburgie most certainly is? Is he looking for a massive hat to put on his equally massive noggin? Both?! Looks like both, much to the distress of the distillery workers.

Batch 2 is a release of 75 numbered bottles.

"marries a winning freshness with deeper, oak-stoked anchor. Salty, malty and teasing... sublime delivery... pretty much faultless, top grade blending malt: quite irresistible!"

- Jim Murray (94.5 Points)

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, single grains, bourbons and blends from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Honeyed mandarin, pear, tomatoes on the vine, malty biscuits and raspberry jam. Just kidding, it's strawberry!

Palate: Apple and peach oak notes, some kiwi and more creamy, biscuity barley. Slightly fizzy.

Finish: The palate just keeps on going here, with hints of tobacco leaf and marzipan.

Overall: Hits all the notes you want a Glenburgie to hit, and more!
