Feast your eyes upon the third batch of GlenAllachie's 10 Year Old Cask Strength expression! It's punchy stuff, weighing in at 58.2% ABV and boasting plenty of sherried warmth and Christmas spice.
Nose: Roasted fruit and crushed black peppercorns, with a whisper of smoke.
Palate: Brighter notes of apple and mango, followed by dried fruit and stem ginger.
Finish: Nutmeg, caramelised dates and honey on rye toast.

Classic sherry cask matured whisky but with a bit more character.I do love as sherry bomb but it's fair to say they can be a bit samy. This GlenAllachie has a bit more character than your average sherry bomb, with a pleasant herby heather undertone, gentle oak and fruit amongst the big sherry notes. Great value too!
