Reviews for GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength - Batch 1
One of the best cask strenght and single malt scotch
The GlenAllachie 10 Cask Strenght is matured in American oak casks and Pedro Ximenez casks, bottled straight from the cask at 57.1% non-chill filtered and non-colored.

It is very rich and full of flavor.
A symphony of honey, vanilla, toffee, rose hip, marmalade and Caribbean spices.

For a 10yo it's mature well beyond its age, aged in great quality casks and more friendly then the 57.1% ABV suggests.
This whisky can take some water and opens up more flavors and aromas once you add a few drops of water and let it breathe and rest for a few minutes.

The GlenAllachie distillery and their new 10yo CS is a hommage to the traditional craftsmanship and passion of great scotch. This is a glorious cask strenght whisky with an age statement, pure robust but very refined and complex for a 10yo.

The Speyside style whisky at its finest.

Vanilla
Wow, so much vanilla. It's relatively expensive for a 10yo but significantly better than the 20yo I have from the same distillery.
