Nicest whisky I've tried but wouldn't pay today's price
We did the distillery tour approx 15 years ago, I bought 6 bottles. I can't remember what I paid but it was nowhere near the price today. I have never enjoyed a whisky as much as those 6 bottles. Never harsh, a very easy whisky, smooth and mellow with a delightful after taste. I've been searching for something similar without the price tag but nothing has matched it. I suppose you do have to pay for quality

Superb
This is fantastic. Wonderful expression of Glen Ord; opens up beautifully with half a teaspoon of water. Long, pleasurable finish. Highly recommended

Worth the wait
Absolutely as expected, quality cask sherry malt with the patience needed to ensure that the connisuers are rewarded for the wait with what will definitely be one of the future classic renowned favourites.
