Though the Glen Mhor distillery has been silent for decades now, some of their whisky still finds its way to bottles somehow - the Glen Mhor legacy continues! This bottling comes to us by way of Signatory's Cask Strength Collection. It was distilled in September 1982 and matured in hogshead #1606 for 30 long years. It was bottled in December 2012 with an outturn of just 201 bottles.

Glen Mhor 30 Year Old 1982 (cask 1606) - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory) Reviews

Menthol, Cucumber, Chocolate, Oak. Okay.

The nose: menthol, citrus, chocolate notes behind my nose.
The palette: citrus, cucumber, menthol, oak.
The finish: caramel & chocolate.

This one was made the tear my wife was born so we wanted to give it a try. It was pretty good but so alcohol intense it took a minute to settle into. All in all, nice to try but not something i'd get a bottle of.
