Glen Keith 1968 - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon and MacPhail) Reviews

Sebastiaan, The Beste Wisky in the world!

The best Whiskey (second to none) that I have ever tasted.

In 1968 entrusted to oak cask, bottled in 2007.

But what makes this Whiskey so special (apart from the gentle rich flavor and the countless odors that really can not be compared to anything else), that's the oak cask! In the 1960s long before the whiskey madness, Scotland was relatively poor and used very old Oak barrels 70, 80, 90 and even 100 years old.

These casks were in turn made of mature oak trees for wine & port production.

The Taste, Smell and Color thus come from Trees -> Barrels going back in time all the way to Napoleon (1769 - 1821), the time of the industrial revolution, and everything that the modern world has experienced and has had to bear to land in the Swinging Sixties to become the ultimate whiskey.

The 60's of Jaguar E-type Series I.
