Nose Trickles of runny toffee, soft, juicy stone fruits, and plump raisins are backed by boiled sweeties and dustings of cinnamon sugar.
Palate The first whisky out of the exciting and modern InchDairnie distillery in Fife. The single grain Scotch whisky is made from 53% malted rye and 47% malted barley, which have been hammer milled to finely grind the grains, and then fermented using a rye-specific yeast to bring out the best of the rye flavour. Matured in freshly charred American oak barrels, this is exciting stuff from this innovative producer.
Finish Cinder toffee, toasted coconut, and vanilla linger alongside more tropical fruit, drizzled with dark caramel.
