This was distilled at Glen Grant on the 22nd April 1992, aged for 18 years in a single hogshead, and bottled on the 15th March 2011 at Natural Cask Strength. An outturn of 293 bottles.
Nose: Rich on sherried notes, particularly sultanas, figs, dates and walnut. Hints of pepper and berry fruits, with a little cocoa and espresso coffee.
Palate: Notes of coffee, chocolate and rich spices. Plenty of sherry going on, with hints of walnut again, and pepper. Figs and dates develop.
Finish: Long and spicy, with cloves and cardamom.
