Glen Gordon 1957 (Gordon and MacPhail)

Glen Gordon 1957 Bottling Note

This is a malt whisky distilled in Speyside in 1957. It was named for the Gordon Clan, the name was said to have been granted at the time of Robert the Bruce.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is smooth and gentle with notes of Oloroso sherry and oak, a floral character with notes of wood smoke and honey. The palate is of good body with excellent balance. There are notes of winter spice and pepper, a touch of honey and a sherried peel character. There is sultana note with a walnut character. The finish is long with notes of sultana and mocchaccino.
