A very well aged blended whisky, this Glen Calder from Gordon and MacPhail was distilled in 1949, the birth year of George Foreman.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is of medium-body and quite smooth. There are notes of caramel and fudge, a touch of honey and a nutty character. There are some mixed peels notes and a hint of sultana and spice. The palate is of medium-body and superbly balanced. There are notes of toffee sweetness, a touch of pepper and a walnut note, there are hints of sherry and spice. The finish is long with toasty oak notes.
