The nose is of medium-body and quite smooth. There are notes of caramel and fudge, a touch of honey and a nutty character. There are some mixed peels notes and a hint of sultana and spice. The palate is of medium-body and superbly balanced. There are notes of toffee sweetness, a touch of pepper and a walnut note, there are hints of sherry and spice.
