Willsher’s Black Bull - late 1960s

Black Bull - late 1960s Bottling Note

Well this is a blast from the past! Black Bull blended Scotch whisky, back when it was presented by George Wilsher & Co. and before the brand was acquired by Duncan Taylor. We believe this 100 proof (Black Bull was quite popular in the USA) blend was produced in the late 1960s.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed info and/or photos just get in touch!

Willsher’s Black Bull - late 1960s Reviews

At last!

I believe George Willsher was my grandfather’s uncle. For years I had been trying to find a bottle without success. I was so happy when your website came up on one of my searches. I bought the second to last bottle and now my son bought the last one. It’s like having a little bit of your past sitting on the shelf. Thank you!

Willsher's Black Bull Scotch:

During the late 1960's , early 70's, I enjoyed the great taste of Willsher's Black Bull Scotch with club soda and a twist of lemon. Really missed the product once Willsher's was acquired by another company, looked for Black Bull Scotch for many years, coast to coast in the US, never was lucky enough to find a hidden batch. I will have to try the new product.
