A fab Fettercairn single malt, independently bottled up for the Provenance range by Douglas Laing. This whisky was distilled back in October 2012 and allowed eight years of rest in a refill hogshead until March 2012. A small release of 410 bottles.

Nose: Nutty barley with hints of almonds and macadamia nuts, dusted with brown sugar.

Palate: Malted milk biscuits and Jammie Dodgers, plus crumbly fudge.

Finish: Drying cinnamon and black pepper spiciness, plus crunchy barley.
