Fettercairn 11yo #801506 Bottling Note

11 year old Fettercairn single malt, independently bottled as part of Alistair Walker's Infrequent Flyers series - so titled as the range is built around whiskies from distilleries that don't see regular released. It makes the sense. This one was distilled in 2007 and aged in a single hogshead before being bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 303 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Peaches, tomato stem, liquorice and earthy malt.

Palate: Still somewhat leafy and green, though caramelised banana and pecan soon become center of attention.

Finish: Slightly oily on the finish with pine and barley.
