Distilled at Fettercairn on the 22nd April 1995, this spicy little whisky was aged for 16 years in bourbon barrels 405 and 406 before bottling by Signatory on the 7th July 2011. A release of 368 bottles.
Nose: Good sweetness and fruit. A tad rubbery, some malt, salty butter, pepper, apple wood and cured meats.
Palate: Herbal and tangy, with good sweetness. A lot of cinnamon and those rubbery notes again. Caramel and sweet black coffee appear.
Finish: Parsley, prunes, dates and pine.
