Oh, and they never expire...
The Famous Grouse blended Scotch whisky, which has been allowed to marry in specially selected Port casks, a variation on the classic recipe that really comes through on the finish with notes of dark red fruits.

A good blended whisky. So much better than the ordinary one. Worth for the price.

As a malt drinker (normally) I was impressed by this bottle inherited from step-father's stash. A smooth dram that has no need for 'a touch of water'

First time I bought this Famous Grouse Port Cast finish, I thought' wow, what a great flavour and smooth taste. I prefer to drink my whiskey on the rocks, and felt this blend could be my standard whiskey. I was not impressed with the Famous Grouse Black and still prefer JWalker Black and Double Black. Here in Kenya JW Black is dominant and I have not found the Famous Grouse Port Cast Finish but still enjoy Grouse.

A lot more character than the original. Worth a try, specially for those who like sweeter whiskies with dried fruit taste, sherry etc. A nice touch of vanilla!
