This was distilled at Edradour on the 6th December 2001. It was filled into a single cask (sherry butt 530) before a 10 year maturation. It was bottled in November 2012 and there are just 984 bottles available.
Nose: Soft, juicy dried peels and hints of sherry. A little allspice, plum jam and kola.
Palate: Warming, thick palate entry with a rum-like mouth-feel. Hints of rum spice too, with a touch of cedar and creamy malt.
Finish: Long and spiced finish, ending on warming black pepper.
