Duncan Taylor's wonderful Black Bull blended Scotch whisky range welcomes a new member, a robust and full-bodied peated edition. Expect notes of dry, earthy smoke here, blending handsomely with juicy orchard fruit and layers of toffee sweetness.

Nose
Through sea salt and bonfire smoke comes brown sugar, orchard fruit and rich malt.
Palate
Stewed apples, toffee and lemon peel lead among earthy peat, roasted salt nuts and a little cinnamon.
Finish
Some salty and smoky notes linger.
