Wild Weasel Single Malt Bottling Note

Distillery Wilderen's very own Belgian single malt whisky: Wild Weasel! Not just a charming name (though it is very charming - big fans of weasels here at MoM Towers), Wild Weasel is an enjoyably creamy single malt matured in American oak casks from Kentucky and Tennessee.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sea side fudge, banana ice cream, salted pistachios.

Palate: Almond, sultana and a hint of porridge oats with honey.

Finish: Black pepper, buttered toast and a hint of pineapple.

Wild Weasel Single Malt Reviews

Surprising Belgian whisky

A very well crafted whisky indeed. Non chill filtered, no caramel added and bottled at 46%, it fits all the requirements of a decent whisky. Otherwise it reminds me of ab unpeated Bruichladich with a strong barley and or oat flavour (such as The Organic or even Scottish Barley). It has that strong barley flavour on top of some almonds. Quite smooth. Eay better tha expected! A nice surprise!
