Dalriada Blended Whisky (Scotland Grindlay) Reviews

The price is right!

Very good blend for a very low price. Not oily at all. Interesting to drink.

A moreish, warm, creamy dram

The nose is sweet pear drops and liquorice. Sip it and the initial mouth is very soft to start, then builds with the merest hint of grain but it is very subtle. It is the malts that do the talking as the finish builds on the mouth with some ginger and the liquorice again.
THis in not a gentle dram but that transition in the mouth from the soft start to the long warming finish makes it very moreish.
The true test is would we buy another bottle.......we already have!
