Port Finish
This Dalmunach single malt was distilled in 2016 – just two years after the Speyside distillery opened! – and has six years of maturation under its belt, including a finishing period in a ruby Port barrel. It was bottled by North Star Spirits in 2022, with a release of 285 bottles at 56.4% ABV.
Toasted cinnamon, melted chocolate, and tart red fruit.
Dusty cocoa, peppery oak, and cherry jam, with some butterscotch in there too.
Prunes and a good whack of ginger spice.
