Dalmore 10 Year Old - Vintage 2004 Reviews

Makes you smile

Nose (22): definite fruitiness to open but then comes walnuts and a hint of chocolate. Taste (20): Vicious, add a bit of water, fruits mixed with chili, some hay - like tones. Finish (21)The nutty flavor returns, still mixed with chilies and saltiness. Took me awhile to identify it but seems to finish with a nice peatiness. Lingers in a lovely way. Balance (20) The spice us a bit over powering but otherwise a nice malt. A mix of sweet and salt, covered in spice, with a handful of nuts thrown in. 83/100

First time i have buyes a Dalmore. First taste i didn't know what to think, it was smooth but i did miss something. Now the bottle has been standing for aboth 2 weeks, and i did try it´h again, this time i did give it´h time in the glass before tasting, now just WOW, what a change, now it is rich full of taste, and the after taste is just great.
The taste is full of dry fruit and it is 46% but you cant feel it, it is just great!
