Dailuaine 04 Connoisseurs Bottling Note

A delicious Dailuaine single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2004 and allowed to mature until 2016 before being bottled by the chaps at Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Lots of malt and cooking spices. A refreshing burst of lemon peel freshness sits at the centre.

Palate: Spongecake with icing sugar, more lemon peel, a subtle whiff of smoke.

Finish: Black liquorice and cinnamon sticks.

Dailuaine 2004 (bottled 2016) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail) Reviews

Fantastic - Lemon Sherbet

Had a dram of this at Milroy's Soho. Was delicious and had a real lemon sherbet style to it. If I had to choose a whisky to convert someone who was only used to sweeter drinks, it would be this. Also great for those with a more experienced tongue.
