This was distilled at Dailuaine in April 1997 and aged for 15 years in a single refill barrel before bottling for Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask range in April 2012. A release of just 268 bottles.
Nose: A fruity, buttery nose with notes of baked pear with cinnamon and honey, and a big whack of soft malt.
Palate: Sweet and creamy, almost wine-like in delivery. Notes of fresh herbs, butterscotch and juicy barley.
