A sherry cask-matured Dailuaine, distilled in Autumn of 1999 and aged for 19 years in a sherry butt before bottling in Spring of 2012. Bottled for Douglas Laing's Provenance range.
Nose: Dark and buttery nose, with molasses, spices, marmalade, cherries and a touch of cocoa.
Palate: Stewed fruits, sultanas, date and walnut loaf, a little butterscotch and fruity.
Finish: Pear drops, candy floss and nutmeg on the tail.
