Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vanilla, brown sugar and rich dark fruit notes. Clove, nutmeg, allspice and marmalade too. Dark christmas cake with a little oak and leather furniture for good measure. Very intense and inviting.

Palate: More dark fruits, fresher now, alongside malt and sherry. Rich and nutty.

Finish: Very long, spicy with plenty of dark cocoa.

Overall: This is simply a fantastic blend.

Cutty Sark Tam o’ Shanter 25 Year Old Reviews

Unbelievable dram!

By far one of the best whiskies I've ever tasted! Would catch many single malts with their pants down and it is an extremely complex whisky with lots of dark fruits, toffee and sherry coming through, with vague wisps of peat on the finish. Even the nose is outstanding!
Without doubt in the top 5 whiskies for me and I can only lament that it's a limited bottling
