Spiced Apple Strudel 2002 Bottling Note

Single cask Craigellachie! This was distilled by Craigellachie in the Speyside region back in 2002, and aged in a hogshead cask until 2016, when it was bottled with an outturn of 362 bottles by Wemyss Malts. This one has been given the name 'Spiced Apple Strudel'.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Fiery cinnamon and black pepper, followed by a helping of honey and plum.

Palate: Cigar box, orange peels, milk chocolate, more hot spices.

Finish: Slightly grassy malt and more honey. Hints of fresh orchard fruits.
