Craigellachie 8 Year Old (cask 13368) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)

Craigellachie 8yo #13368 Bottling Note

Independently bottled single malt from the cracking Craigellachie Distillery, aged in a single bourbon cask from May 2011 to June 2019. After maturation, this one was bottled by the folks from Douglas Laing as part of the Provenance series, with a small outturn of only 324 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Banana bread with salted butter, walnuts and a hint of strawberry ice cream.

Palate: Chocolatey at first, before heavy notes of barley and toasted almonds develop.

Finish: Caramel, exotic spices and a hint of forest floor.
