Cragganmore 30 Year Old 1986 - Old & Rare Platinum (Hunter Laing)

Cragganmore 30yo '86 Bottling Note

Single cask Cragganmore - not a common sight, as much of their spirit makes its way into blends. This one was particularly well-aged, being distilled in Jun 1986 and maturing in a refill hogshead for 30 years, until January 2017. 167 bottles were produced for Hunter Laing's Old & Rare Platinum range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sugared peels, herbaceous oak, floral malt and spicy rye.

Palate: Honey'd cereals, shortly followed by rich cream and poached pear. Slight mineral-forward smokiness.

Finish: Waxy fruit, mint leaf.
