Copeland ’25.3’ Cask Strength Single Malt Irish Whiskey
A cask strength Irish single malt from Copeland, who selected eight casks ranging from five years and two months to five years and seven months for this release. It was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels with support from a single oloroso quarter cask and finished in a California Pinot Noir cask previously used for Copeland’s Smugglers Reserve Rum. Copeland ’25.3’ Cask Strength Single Malt Irish Whiskey was bottled at 58.4% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Orchard fruit, soft vanilla and red berry notes with warm oak and gentle baking spice.
Palate
Creamy malt meets dried fruit, caramel, toasted sugar and a hint of dark cherry and rum warmth.
Finish
Medium long with sweet spice, fruit skins and a faint cocoa note.
