Coleburn 25 Year Old 1980 - Old Malt Cask (Douglas Laing)

Coleburn 1980 Bottling Note

The Speyside distillery of Coleburn closed in 1985 and it is becoming more and more difficult to locate a bottle, thankfully this twenty-five year old Coleburn has been bottled by Douglas Laing for their Old Malt Cask range. Try it while you can!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Lemon and lime zest with a hint of drying hay.

Palate: Very light and creamy on the palate with a burst of lime and milk chocolate.

Finish: Plain chocolate and barley sugar.

Overall: A light whisky with delicious citrus, barley and chocolate notes.
