Clynelish 1997 - Cask Strength (Gordon & MacPhail)

Clynelish 1997 G&M Bottling Note

A full-bodied, smoky dram from the Northern Highland distillery, Clynelish. This single malt was distilled in 1997 and bottled at cask strength.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Rich and full and quite spirity. There are feinty notes of soft leather and honeyed cigar box. Notes of beeswax and mixed fruits, hints of pine oil and a coastal character.

Palate: Quite full and well-balanced. There is a good degree of barley sweetness, some orange and boiled sweets and notes of gentle smoke and cut grass hay.

Finish: Good length with a touch of dryness.
