This Caperdonich was distilled in November 1972 and aged in cask 7440 for 38 years before bottling in May 2011. A release of 181 bottles from Duncan Taylor's Rarest of the Rare series.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Rich and very floral indeed. This is an extravagant, intense whisky with notes of sawdust, apple blossom and various applewood-smoked items. Jammy and spicy with ginger and black pepper.

Palate Rich and very spicy with tangy fruits including apples, pepper and ginger. Some leather and rose petal jelly.

Finish Aniseed, pepper, turmeric and a lot of rich oak.
