Caol Ila 11yo '10 #312837 Bottling Note

A cracking single cask bottling from Caol Ila, distilled in August 2010 and matured for 11 years, including time in a first fill sherry cask. In 2021, this single malt was independently bottled by The Red Cask Co., who kept it at cask strength, releasing a total outturn of 271 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A glorious balance of sweet sherried fruits countering rich, coastal peat.

Palate: A pinch of vanilla, herbal oak, and plump raisins with waves of oily tar and seaside bonfire.

Finish: Smoking embers, gingersnap biscuits, sweet orange with earthy, herbal spice.
