Caol Ila Distillery Only

Caol Ila Distillery Bottling Note

The very rare and very special distillery only bottling from Caol Ila. To get this stuff usually, you have to go all the way to Islay! This was launched at the 2007 Feis Ile, and it has a lovely sweetness and sootiness. Very tasty!

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Caol Ila Distillery Only Reviews

Feis Ila 2015

Loved the distillery with the first sight being steam rising from the seaweed beds and swirling, churning waters of the channel between Isla and Jura. Being welcomed by the sweet old distillery cat.
Left with a bottle of Feis Ila 2015 and quickly fell in love with it. The nose, if you take the time to inhale as far as your lungs will stretch, is the most amazingly complex of any scotch whisky I've ever tried. I'll often spend half an hour just sniffing deeply before I take a drop on the tongue, pretty much the same way you'd drink perfume I guess.
