Distilled at Caol Ila on the 15th September 1999 and aged in two hogsheads before bottling on the 8th April 2011. A release of 926 bottles.
Nose: Smoky with charred oak, custard and freshly cut herbs. Quite buttery too, with hot apple crumble and a dusting of nutmeg.
Palate: Perfectly balanced, custard, porridge oats, truffle oil, pine needles, toffee and tar.
Finish: Good length, with lemon meringue pie, salt and lapsang souchong.
