Though nothing but the large chimney remains of the Caledonian distillery, you can still get your hands on some of their tasty single grain whisky! This is a 29 year old Caledonian, matured in a single hogshead from April 1987 to January 2017, when Signatory bottled it for the Cask Strength Collection. 233 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Coconut ice, milk chocolate, spicy cardamom and crumbly pastry.
Palate
Salted caramel, tangy orange peel, toasted bread smothered in Nutella.
Finish
Vanilla ice cream with strawberry sauce.
