Goodness gracious, look at this 34 year old Bunnahabhain! Obviously it spent all those years in Sherry oak, so expect a flavour profile brimming with Sherried goodness. The Islay distillery put the whisky into the cask in September 1979 and it was bottled by Duncan Taylor in February 2014 for the Single range. 92 bottles of single malt Scotch whisky were produced, each with their own hardwood and leather case.
I'm a lover of sherried bunnahabhains. In fact I'm a bunnah lover in general. But this one is just, plain, over-oaked. I suggest if you have this put away to open and drink for a special occasion, you sell it to a collector and buy something better to drink. The standard bunnah 25 is MUCH better at a lower price. To be honest, the 18 and the 12 are better than this...

Would love to try a sample of this - I'm not going to fork out #385 for a bottle without trying it first!
