Nose: Peaty and spicy on the nose, almost like some of the more unusual Ardbegs we've come across. Hints of coffee beans, sherried peels, dates, pepper and Daim bars. A little lavender honey and smoke.
Palate: Peaty and sweet with notes of sweet Oloroso, sawdust, pine resin, toffee apples, slabs of warm peat and chili oil.
Finish: Tangy and long with notes of cut hay, something vaguely vegetal, and salinity.
