Bunnahabhain 33 Bottling Note

A single cask Bunnahabhain, distilled in December 1978, and aged for 33 years before bottling in December 2011 for Douglas Laing's Old and Rare Platinum Selection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Oaky and fruity. Notes of satsumas, pepper and sweet apple cider. A little coastal flavour, iodine and linseed oil. Spiced and warming.

Palate: Tropical and rich with notes of cooked bananas, pineapple and just a soupcon of coconut. Aniseed and stem ginger in syrup. Old ropes.

Finish: Marmalade and Madeira cake - medium long and very more-ish.
