Nose: Rich and fresh, notes of the coast: salt spray, driftwood, wet pebbles on a beach. Quite fruity too, notes of apple peel and tinned peaches, and just a hint of sweet vanilla.
Palate: Sweet and spiced. Notes of chicory, walnut and dried apple. A little butterscotch and hints of iodine, gentle smoke and salt. Big on malt, which develops with spicy intent.
Finish: Medium length with notes of sweet, steely white wine.
