This was distilled at Bunnahabhain in 1997 and aged in bourbon barrels before it was taken to the Bruichladdich distillery, where it was finished in Port Pipes. It was bottled after 13 years in 2010, and there are 1,900 bottles of this.
Nose: Zesty, with notes of clove-studded oranges, malt, butterscotch and Nutella.
Palate: Buttery toffee and gingernut biscuits, very malty, with notes of plum jam, wild strawberries and black pepper.
Finish: Pear juice, pepper and malt.
