This Bruichladdich is part of the John Milroy Selection bottled by Berry Brothers and Rudd. John Milroy led the Scotch Single Malt movement in London from the early 60’s with his brother Wallace.
Nose: Honey glazed hazel nuts and poached peaches form an aromatic nose.
Palate: Peaches and bananas form a soft fruity flavour profile with a little tannin from the oak.
Finish: The finish is persistent with banana, cream and spicy notes.
Overall: This is a soft and fruity Bruichladdich which makes for a great pre-dinner drink.
