Port Charlotte 13yo 2001 Bottling Note

A 13 year old Sherry cask-matured single malt here from Bruichladdich, released under their Port Charlotte name - meaning those of you that love a good peated expression will want a piece of this. This was distilled in 2001, the year the Islay distillery reopened after a period of closure. 709 bottles were produced for the Rest & Be Thankful range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Hot peat, decorated with baking spices and crushed nuts.

Palate: A little bit chocolatey on the palate. Grassy notes develop alongside smoky peat and tarry ropes.

Finish: Clove, apple and coastal air.
