Sorry about this...

We can't actually ship Octomore 07.4 7 Year Old Virgin Oak to you in United States at the moment. We're working on a solution, but until then, here are some alternatives:

Octomore 07.4 Bottling Note

An early 2016 release of Bruichladdich's extremely peaty Octomore series. Octomore 07.4 has endured quite an interesting maturation - 25% of it was aged entirely in virgin oak casks, while 75% of it spent 3 years in first fill bourbon casks, followed by 2 years in virgin oak casks and then 2 more years in first fill bourbon casks.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Chewy raisins, flamed orange peel, BBQ char and sweet smoke. Intensely oak-y, too.

Palate: Oodles of peat smoke, carried along by citrus peels, honey and ground spices.

Finish: A lasting floral sweetness balanced by rich oak warmth.

Octomore 07.4 7 Year Old Virgin Oak Reviews

This is one of the most memorable tasting whisky I've ever had. It has a rich, oily finish to it with a distinct smell.

Drinking it as I write this with a 07.1 to compare too right next to it. I'd say if you want a flavor explosion this would be the one to buy. Not as smokey as the 7.3 but definitely more interesting. I wouldn't pick this for a regular drink though.

It is overpriced, no doubt, but one of the best and sweetest Octomores ever. What a delight, but at a lower price, more people would be able to enjoy this beautiful peated malt.

Love it

This one is amazing, but understandably not for everyone. Nose reminds me of a Canadian Tire mat (for the canucks)...but somehow that becomes a good thing. Great taste. I love peat but have passed on Octomores until this one, which really stood out for me so snapped up a bottle. Still though, not an everyday dram.

Tread with caution

Octomore fans may even find this one difficult. I don't tend to follow reviews as it is so subjective, but Serge was right: this is one of the worst Octomores to grace the range. Undercooked and overpriced. Go 7.1 instead.
