Bruichladdich Wee Ruari Bottling Note

An 11 year old single malt from Bruichladdich, made with whisky drawn from the first cask filled after Bruichladdich was reopened in 2011. It was named after former Bruichladdich CEO Mark Reynier's son, who was born five months prior to the filling of the cask which aged this whisky. Collectible stuff indeed.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Dry smoke with a hint of BBQ char to it, balanced by sticky bun and toffee sweetness.

Palate: Earthy barley and more smoke. Tangy hints of orange and grapefruit develop later on, with a smidge of apricot jam.

Finish: The final hints of zesty fruit stick around, with smoke slowly fading into the background.
