Reviews for Bruichladdich The Organic 2009
Very drinkable whisky
3rd December in the Advent calendar. I really enjoyed it neat, I wonder what the 4th will bring.

Just okay
It's a solid whisky but the grassy flavors can be a bit overwhelming.

not bad
75% water in your glass will destroy any whisky. It's not fifty "degrees" it's 50 percent alcohol by volume. Just sayin'. This one is fairly good but not great. I like it with a sprinkle of water, about 4 percent. It rates an 84. Yes, it would make a nice cocktail but maybe it's a little too good for that.

Malted magnificence
I was fortunate to be given a bottle.
I do not drink whisky, have never found it special, but since the Bruichladdich was there... and oh my goodness, what wonderful flavours.
Because it's 50 degrees I added 75% water, which softened the 'kick' and, I found, allowed more appreciation of the layers of different tastes.
Thankyou.
