Bruichladdich 21 YO 1992 Bottling Note

21 year old Bruichladdich single malt, bottled as part of The Octave range. This was distilled on the Isle of Islay in 1992, allowed a finishing period in a tiny octave cask and bottled in 2014 with a small outturn of 88 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Almost rum-like spices, with a hint of burnt sugar helping it along. Toast with salted butter, a hint of citrus.

Palate: Big bundles of orange peels dipped in Sherry, coastal air, ginger snaps, honey.

Finish: Return of the spice, now with a little more black pepper.
