Bruichladdich 20 1992 Bottling Note

This is a 20 year old Bruichladdich from Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered Collection, distilled on the 25th November 1992 and aged in two hogsheads before bottling on the 11th December 2012. A release of just 782 numbered bottles, bottled without chill-filtration.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Gentle aromas of sweet caramel and spice, hints of cooked fruit, barley wine and allspice.

Palate: Spiced palate entry with notes of dried grass and star anise. A little Seville orange marmalade, soft smoke and something vaguely coastal.

Finish: Ground almonds and black pepper. Sweet honey.

Overall: A very straight-up Bruichladdich. Lovely stuff.

Coming to the end of my 2nd bottle of this

Fantastic whisky. Coming to the end of my second bottle - it's becoming harder to find - first bottle set me back £30, then £45 and 2 years later, understandably, this costs more! Still worth every penny!
