Bruichladdich 1984/32 Bottling Note

1984 vintage single malt from Bruichladdich, which was moved over to fresh bourbon casks in 2008 by then-master distiller Jim McEwan. Current head distiller Adam Hannett is a big fan of Bruichladdich aged in bourbon casks, describing it as the ultimate expression of their spirit - hence why this 32 year old single malt was released as part of their illustrious Rare Cask Series. 3,000 bottles were produced.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Jam-packed with tropical fruit - think papaya and watermelon with a light sprinkle of salt and paprika.

Palate: It doesn't take long for butterscotch and cedar to catch up to the exciting fruit notes.

Finish: Slightly nutty and oily, though the previous elements of zesty papaya and rich vanilla continue on at the core.
