This Bruichladdich was distilled before the distillery was moth-balled and reopened. Berry Brothers and Rudd of St James', London, bottled this particular Bruichladdich in 2011.
Nose: There is a herbaceous note of thyme and coriander with developing lemon zest tones.
Palate: There are plenty more citrus flavours on the palate with a deeper honeyed character.
Finish: Plenty more lemon with a hint of lime and acacia honey.
Overall: A well-made and fresh dram from this Islay distillery.
